SnapAudio Privacy Policy

SnapAudio does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All audio capture and processing happens locally on your Mac.
Data Collection
SnapAudio does not collect any data from you or your device:
- No personal information collected
- No recordings or audio data transmitted externally
- No analytics or tracking
- No usage data collection
Microphone & Audio Inputs
SnapAudio uses macOS microphone and audio input APIs to capture sound from devices you select. Recordings are written only to local storage on your Mac — never uploaded.
Local Network Access
SnapAudio uses Bonjour/mDNS to discover NDI audio sources on your local network. This communication stays on your LAN:
- NDI source discovery uses mDNS/Bonjour locally
- NDI audio streams are received only from sources on your network
- No audio data is sent to any external server
Local Storage
Recordings, source configurations, group names, and filter settings are stored locally on your Mac and never transmitted to any server.
